What is Sports Rehab?
Sports rehab is a specialized area of physical therapy designed to help athletes recover from injuries, enhance performance, and return to their sport safely and efficiently. At our clinic, we go beyond generic rehab protocols by tailoring every treatment plan to the unique physical demands of your specific sport- Whether you’re a dancer, gymnast, pitcher, runner, or basketball player. Every Sport places different demands on the body, and every athlete is unique-especially young athletes, who are still growing, developing, and learning how to move efficiently.

Sport-Specific Demands & Analysis:
Built Around the Needs of Each Sport

Every sport challenges the body in different ways. That’s why we start with a detailed sport-specific movement analysis, identifying patterns, asymmetries, and mechanical insufficiencies that could predispose an athlete to injury or limit performance. Whether it’s the rotational torque of a baseball swing, the flexibility demands of gymnastics, the high-speed sprints in soccer or the repetitive motion of pitching, we evaluate your body through the lens of your sport.
Return-to-Sport Testing:
Testing to know When They’re Truly Ready

Our Return-to-sport testing protocols are rooted in evidence-based metrics that assess strength, power, endurance, mobility, agility, and neuromuscular control. We ensure that each athlete not only feels ready-but proves they’re ready- with sport-specific benchmarks that reduce reinjury risk and improve long-term outcomes.

Proven Treatments
We use a wide range of evidence-based treatments that are tailored to each athlete’s sport, injury, and goal. These include:

- Customized Exercise programs
- Strength and conditioning
- Flexibility work
- Hands-On Soft Tissue work
- Dry needling and Cupping
- Scraping (IASTM)
- Electric Stimulation (E-Stim)
- Joint mobilization and Adjustments (manipulation)
- Neuromuscular Re-training
- Running and Movement Analysis
- Orthotic Consultation
It’s About More Than Just Healing
At our clinic, sports rehab is more than just “fixing the injury.” It’s about helping your athlete move better, feel stronger, and return to their sport with more confidence. We also look at training volume, growth and development, nutrition, and mental readiness- because all of it matters when it comes to keeping young athletes healthy and performing their best.
